I've been off this space for a while, but today I had to write this particular thing not for somebody to read, but for myself to ponder upon sometime down the life.

I'm by far a safe driver... did not complete yet... its different today. It was 9.30 PM and after a unsuccessful attempt of finding food at couple of places, we were heading towards BK, where we know, that will operate late.

I was just driving at 55MPH... not any great speed by any metrics, especially when the roads are deserted. Those couple of the vehicles coming in the opposite made the entire difference. They were on a high beam and I was busy giving a dipper... and the rest of the folks in the car were also not complaining... but driver should have that extra sense, which I normally have, except today where I was thinking something else and not upto my full senses... Luckily, Cops were not around. So, I'm not getting a ticket. There were some terrfied fellow drivers peeping their necks out to see if I've drunk or sleeping... well fellas... get that neck in, you'll not have it on your shoulder for more time if you do that more often...

I know you must be crazy by now as to what happened... hey, I'm still alive and the rest of the folks are in their rooms safe and more importantly wholesome and the car is exceptionally well.

All that happened was... I did not notice a small curve on the road and drove onto the median. One side of the car was completely on the median for a second when I turned back the steering wheel and everything was normal. Normal except for a shocked back seat and a nervous side seat :D.

Following were the comments:

"Normally, I'd scream when I notice something unusual. But thought you'd notice that being an experienced one"... Well buddy, experience... my foot. As long as you are on the back seat, while I drive... Remember, Hell is by the steering wheel :P

"Small things happen"... Well buddy, that makes me feel good... Lets go out for a ride. I'll try harder this time... Again the same words of wisdom for you... Hell is by the steering wheel ;)

My latest musical interest is very old Telugu songs ;)

I was looking for this song... prema kosamai valalo padene paapam pasivaadu (MOVIE: Pataala Bhairavi, YEAR: 1951) and being a popular song, it was not tough to find a download. After listening the song for couple times and lost in the wonderful articulation of words and the sweet music, I thought I should listen to all the songs in that movie. Then I found this site (www.oldtelugusongs.com), which had a great collection of songs.

I downloaded the songs of that movie and I became the victim of the lyrics to each of the songs. How could I miss these for all these years. I feel sorry for myself for missing these.

Now, I'm listening to these songs... day in and day out... just until the fever gets down and I get back to my rock.

This nostalgia does not mean that I listen to the new Telugu songs yet. May be after 50 years, when the songs deteriorate further, I might listen to the current songs.

Nope... its not that nobody buys it. Vista is doing amazingly well. The initial bashing will always be there. I've been hearing these bashings since Windows 98 and except for Windows ME, there was none which was a failure in every aspect ;)

So cutting the crap and getting to the point.

Well... Feb was the sick month of all.

I did not spend anytime on blogging. I haven't checked the stats for long time. So, not sure how many of you out there is still reading my small space.

So, for the betterment of human race... i welcome myself to the space... yet AGAIN.
